Traffic light jellies for kids - Vegetarian

Ingredients

1 x 135g packet lime jelly cubes

1 x 135g packet lemon jelly cubes

1 x 135g packet strawberry jelly cubes

Instructions

  1. Cut the lime jelly into cubes and place in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Pour 285ml boiling water over the jelly cubes and stir briskly with a wooden spoon until the cubes are fully dissolved.
  3. Pour in 285ml cold water and stir to combine.
  4. Fill 1/3 of each cup with the green jelly liquid (the recipe should make enough for around 12 jellies, but the exact number will depend on the size of your cups). Chill in the fridge for 2 hours or until set.
  5. Repeat steps 1-3 with the lemon jelly. Pour on top of the set green jelly, so it fills another 1/3 of the way up the cup. Chill in the fridge for another 2 hours.
  6. Repeat steps 1-3 with the strawberry jelly. Pour the final 1/3 layer of strawberry jelly liquid on top of the set lemon layer. Return to the fridge for another 2 hours before serving.

Make these jellies the day before your party, and leave to finish setting in the fridge overnight.

Don't let your kids eat raw jelly cubes, as they're a choking hazard.
