Children progress from Ankerville Baby Unit to Ankerville House Nursery in Tain.
A Key Worker system operates in the nursery where each child is allocated one member of staff responsible for both settling in and compiling your childâs Learning Journal. This is a collection of written and photographic evidence and observations relating to your childâs development and progress whilst they are at the nursery.
Each child under two years is given a Daily Diary which is completed each day by their Key Worker and communicates to the parents / carers all relevant information each day. Parents are responsible for providing the nursery staff with their childâs preferred brand of nappies and wipes and a packed lunch if required. All children are given a healthy snack and a drink.
