All our tutors have been through a fourfold quality check comprising an Enhanced DBS check, proof of qualifications, a professional references check and an extensive interview. Our interview process works to ensure excellent lesson planning skills and teaching ability.

Whilst a personal interview of this depth is currently not required by most other tuition agencies, we insist upon this as a core requirement for all our tutors, and all of them have been carefully selected for their communication skills and expertise in their subject field.

Our tutors are comprised of a mix of teachers, postgraduates and undergraduates who have significant teaching experience through programmes such as  Secondary School Teaching modules and outreach tuition work run by local Universities.  The vast majority therefore are, or have been, working in local schools carrying out one-to-one tuition.

All of our tutors have been carefully selected for their tutoring abilities and expertise in their subject field. Our tutors can help pinpoint which specific style of learning will help each individual student to succeed, and can offer support with exam techniques, revision skills and general essay support, from Primary to Graduate level. Our tutors can also offer online learning using our bespoke virtual classroom, with the same quality of tuition as a face to face lesson.

We are a Corporate Member of the Tutors’ Association and follow their nationwide Code of Professional Practice, Ethics and Child Protection.
