The College was inspected by Ofsted in January 2020 and was graded a Grade 3 “requires improvement”. This is as per our own self-assessment, which we submitted to Ofsted late last year. Our strong and unique relationships with regional and national employers were praised during our verbal feedback. The report further acknowledges that our employer links are helping to support our teachers in updating their vocational skills and they make particular mention of our motor vehicle employer connections having a positive impact on employability prospects for apprentices. Our learners and apprentices feel safe and enjoy coming to college, praising its pleasant and welcoming environment. The arrangements for safeguarding are effective.
