Our nursery is here to help staff and students to successfully combine work or academic study with parenthood. We take a principled approach to young children's care and education, with an emphasis on parental involvement and collaborative working.
The nursery is staffed by highly qualified and experienced early years practitioners. The workforce at Middlesex University's nursery recognises that each child is a competent learner from birth who can be resilient, capable, confident and self-assured. We are committed to focusing on children's well-being, development, inclusion and health and safety.
We operate a key person approach to ensure positive relationships enable children to be strong and independent from a base of loving and secure relationships with parents and a key person. Our commitments are focused around respect, partnership with parents and supporting learning. We provide an environment that enables learning; we share our observations with parents to plan for individual children with activities that stimulate curiosity and support their development.
