Puffins at Clystheath empowers the children to learn and develop using their imagination. We encourage the children to lead their learning, incorporating their interests and experiences into our everyday activities.

We provide a safe and welcoming environment, in a converted chapel on the outskirts of Exeter, which opened in 1995. Easy access from Pynes Hill, Middlemoor and Ikea, the nursery is located amongst the quiet Clystheath Estate. As well as the secure and exciting garden area children are taken on trips to local parks and green areas as well as local shops and businesses in the local community.

As an OFSTED Good Setting, the team are dedicated to providing a high level of care and education for children, offering an environment where the children have confidence to use their own voice and explore. We strive to meet the needs of all the children and families, working in partnership with parents and carers and other agencies where necessary.

Our nursery is a large, open plan setting, with separate Baby and Bumblebees rooms and a well-resourced preschool room. Children enjoy a varied menu of healthy and nutritious meals and we provide a fruit snack in the morning, 2 course lunch and a snack tea in the afternoon.
