Established in 1990, Sugar N Spice Day Nursery delivers care to children aged 2 to 5 years.

We pride ourselves in preparing your child for entry into reception class, making it an easier transition into school.

We provide a wide variety of fun activities to help your child have a fantastic time in a safe, stimulating environment.

Our facilities include two playrooms which are often combined to provide a larger play space where your child can enjoy ample play and learning opportunities. Our toys are changed numerous times during the day, offering many child choice immersive activities and offering the children a chance to choose their own toys.

We also offer a large outdoor play area, encouraging children to use their imagination on the large tractor, wooden car and caravan. It provides chances for them to test their motor skills, by climbing, jumping in puddles, digging in the mud or build a tower of bricks. It gives opportunities to experiment, with a growing area, mud kitchen, water butt and herb garden. Most of all it gives the children a chance to be together, explore and grow!

We facilitate quiet areas where children can read a book, create, make and emotionally regulate.

There is full access to the outside where children are given the opportunities to ride bikes, cars and scooters. We provide wellies, and waterproofs.

Children are encouraged to make choices for their own activities while contributing ideas for future activity planning which we welcome.

We have dance/gymnastics/multisport classes from DP sports and JAGS once a week.
