Ranelagh Harriers is a friendly and inclusive road & cross country running club based in Richmond, south-west London. As one of the oldest running clubs in the UK, formed in 1881, we have a rich heritage and history.
Our past and present club members have been innovators at the vanguard of some of the major events to impact the British running community during the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries. Our members have organised the first ever track relay event to be held in the UK in 1895, founded the London Marathon in 1981 and founded parkrun in 2004.
We have a diverse membership and we cater to runners of all ages and abilities and our club is open to all. We also have a thriving junior section for our younger runners.
Our primary focus is on encouraging and improving our members running and we have an amazing team of coaches to help facilitate this.
Whether you are new to running and trying to improve your parkrun time or you are a more experienced runner targeting a marathon PB our coaches will provide training sessions to meet your needs. Our weekly training sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays are free to our members.
